Can we have an oven please?

I am waiting for the oven, this is boring and I need to return a library book, so hopefully either the oven or someone who can take over waiting for a knock on the door so I can go out. It is about a month since we've had an oven, I am much looking forward to cooking with it. Though at least being in all day means my washing is slowly getting done, YeY clothes.
EDIT: Ok Chris and Natalie came home and made me lunch <33 but were not here long enough for me to go out.

In other news I have finally been properly shopping in Liverpool YeY something I have not had time for recently. I went with Becci and James and got a awesome green jumper dress, some new boots and trainers. We also had milkshakes then went for dinner at The Italian Club which was nomiliscious and a good time was had by all. We then had a game of Monopoly cause all good houses neew board games.

LAS are also having a Halloween thingy, I need something to dress up as. I'm currently thinking of pyrate or witch, though I might be able to come up with something more inventive...maybe. On the subject of dressing up in November I shall be going to see the Rocky Horror Show. It will be fantabulous, I have a shiney gold tophat and thre rest of the outfir will be just as sparkly tooo. It will be an amazing time.

I should be doing work, unfortuanlty much of the stuff I need is on the uni system and not this one.

Oh well lets make notes with what we have. Then fight the library system to attempt to find a journal.

XxX

Whooops

My computers kind of died ;___; (is on parents computer atm). The power conncertor jack has gone and thus I have no power :'( I also broke the power cord in the process of breaking the connector...ooopsy. However it should cost me about £50 to get fixed which is much better than buying a new laptop and then I'll have to get a new power lead too...however at least I've found some cheap(ish) online. At least I have been paid alot this week for all my workings so I can get my laptop fixed. At least I only hope it's only the power thingamijig.

Work was busy today, though I'm not back in work till Tuesday so unless something appears on Monday I can see what fixing people say about my laptop then as lots of computer shops aren't open Sunday.

I can't remeber what I was gonn write about. Hmm laze time.

XxX

Fry vs Elmo
Earlier this evening I wrote a story about Stephen Fry vs Elmo. This is what happens when fizzyopolis and I are left along with computers, Mock the Week and Never Mind teh Buzzcocks.

I should change my lj name sometime this one had meaning years ago but not anymore and I don't like it. Remind me to do that xD.

My phone is dying ;__; this makes me sad, hopefully I can get a new phone soon. If you cannot get me, I'm either at work or my phones died (again). My house phone now works ok though cause dad changed the phone internet thing so it was odd a few days ago.

I love dancing, I can now waltz and cha-cha. Dancing and learning kanji seem to be some of my latest addictions. Considering many of the things I could be addicted to these are not bad things ^_^.

I shall be seeing fizzyopolis and demichippings soon in the magical land of Southampton. It will be fun, it will be nice to see wonderful uni friends for the first time in ages.

Also it's been a month since I was in Japan waaahhh I want to go back. Will distract boyfriend with caimen crocodille, steal his mantinance grant, run off to Japan but bring back lots of potions to appease him. Sazzy gets to go to Japan, James gets more HP... everybody wins and all will be well.

Boyfriend can read the lj...hmmm.

Hmm randomness updatey. Should go to bed, but am enjoying the internet and computer both working atm....do not want it to end incase it will not work later.

Ok will maybe go to sleep. Love you working computer <3333.

Nightly night sleep tight.

XxX

Young, Dumb...I fit the young part can I have a round the world trip now please!

I was gonna write abount Bansky http://www.banksy.co.uk/menu.html, who is a fantastic graffiti artist who is very clever and likes to make a point. I went to Bristol to see his fantastic exhibition (and you can see his works all around Bristol). However seeing as my computer refuses to talk to my camera atm I'll wait till I upload photos because seeing is good (and hillarious). If you can get down to Bristol it's definatly worth going too (and free).

As most of the family were at the dentist tonight (haha) I randomly ate and ice cream in the lounge and the tv was on (because lazy older sister never turns off the tv) and a programme started called "Young, Dumb and Living off Mum" (episode 1 here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00lt4t7/Young_Dumb_and_Living_off_Mum_Episode_1/ I was watching episode 2) and the BBC have found eight people between the ages of 17 and 25 who are living off thier parents, don't work, most have never had a job and thier parents do everything and I mean EVERYTHING for them and put them in a house. Each week they have to do do a days work *OMG SO HARD* (if you are not noticing the sarcasm here please get your brain examined thank you) and one get's voted out by the parents. Now why are they doing this, is it to become mature responsible adults, to get thier lives on some sort of track or to realise what they put their parents through (ok partially the parents fault but that comes later in my rant)? Hahaha no, for the kid (I won't call them adults till they start acting liking even if some of them are 25) who lasts the eight weeks without being voted out get a trip round the world paid for by the BBC!

Why the fuck do these spoilt brats whose genius consists of such things as "I though peas melted" (on how to make pea soup) get rewarded for doing what the majority of us do and have been doing for most of our lives.

Dear BBC,

In regards to your recent series "Young, Dumb and Living off Mum"

I am young and however I am certainly not dumb being at Liverpool University, which is one of the best Univeristies in the country and a member or the prestigious Russell Group. I will willingly provide certificates proving my academic achievements if you so require them.

I have been working since sixteen, including when at college and during holidays from university. If you would like a reference from my manager about how hardworking and reliable I am, I assure you she will be more than happy to provide one.

I willingly help my parents with household chores and know a wide selection of recipies that not only can I cook, but I can also clean up after making.

Unlike these young people in your recent series "Young, Dumb and Living off Mum" I actually have an interest in learning new skills, for example I am learning Japanese and participate in Karate, ballroom dancing and street dancing.

So British Broadcasting Company, as you are trying to encourage these young people to be like me, a young person working hard to get her education and doing my job to the best of my abilities whilst also having the nessercary social and domestic skills to be a fully capable member of society: when do I get my fully paid trip around the world?

Yours faithfully

Sazzy Lancefield

P.S. How many of the participants on the afore mentioned show can write a letter like this?

I'm actually quite tempted to send that with a bit of fine tuning it wouldn't be half bad. I'd also be interested to see if I get a response of any substance.

So lets continue the rant, the person I most wanted to slap was the 25 year old (yes you read the age right) Nicola, who when two of the younger participants in a incredible rare moment of maturity cleaned the kitchen and left a friendly note for everyone saying "Surprise" (they had cleaned the kitchen late at night when everyone else had gone to bed "Please keep you kitchen clean, thank you :)". Now most people were impressed and thought it was really nice of them. Yet she threw a wobbly about how patronising the note was and got stressy at the two who had actually cleaned the kitchen. Gosh she needed a slap. Personally if she had been my daughter 1). I wouldn't have let her turn out like that anyway and 2, at 25 chucked her out and told her to grow up.

I would have liked thier task this week, which was a fashion show from second hand clothes that they had to organise. The week before it had been cleaning hotel rooms, you would have thought they're been asked to cut off thier own limbs and eat them. I don't see why these people are going to get rewarded for hopefully growing up?

However I guess they cannot be entirly to blame, thier parents no matter how much they complain literally do everything for them. The parents work, cook, clean, give money too, wash clothes, iron, provide lifts you name it they do it. Now many of our parents probably do alot of this too, however when these parents try to get thier offspring to help all hell breaks loose.

None of them even have a good reason for not working, none have any medical disabilities that prevent them from working (and many disabled people do work), and the majority of them come from built up cities so lots of places to go searching for jobs, even if they only temped or similar. One of them came from London and I know there's a recession but in the capital city, you can still get a job.

Also with this trip around the world, seeing as to them boiling an egg is the equivilent of a 2 year old doing advanced quantaum physics if this trip isn't 5 star and all organised down to every last detail, they're not gonna stand a chance of surviving. The winner will probably just get drunk the whole trip anyway!

So tomorrow I shall go to work knowing that someone who does not understand the meaning of work will be getting a free trip round the world (I earned all the money myself for my last three holidays to America, the Netherlands and Japan) funded by the people who pay the licence fee, most of whom probably have to work to pay this and don't get the money of mum and dad.

/End rant

P.S. Remind me to put about PSB and public service remit in my letter if I send it.

Now I shall read my book about magicians ("Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell" by Susanna Clark), it's early days yet but seems promising.

XxX

Ramblings of a Sazzy

Hmm what shall I update about? I could follow the recent patterns of my friends list and bitch about housemates (well my last year housemates and people bitching about your housemates your rants are very justified), complaining, being honest telling people what I'm actually like, being positive or what drama series I've watched hehe.

Hmm this week has been mainly working, I've worked more hours than my dad even though he works full time xD mainly covering people who were ill at work (lots this week) so the money will be good because I get paid on Tuesday (YeY!). Then for August I have 12 hours a week plus any extra to cover people. I am lucky with my job and currently I can do no wrong (not that I ever do wrong at work :p) cause of the amount of times I've saved Nikki (my boss) by coming in at such short notice. Also had a nightmare at work on Thursday if a person comes to fix the chip and pin machine and say it will take a few seconds do not believe him. For over two hours our card didn't work, then the cards would workn but the guy managed to cause the cash drawer to not open and then the whole till went down, all the time we had customers in the shop trying to buy things arrrggghhh!

However Thursday evening was fun, I can now do a basic waltz and am learning the cha cha it is most enjoyable. Street dancing is also great fun, especially the jumpy move and really energetic too so a good work out. Dancing should be on more often!

Then yesterday I met up with Rach and we went around town then to see Harry Potter, it was good but personally I think not the best adaptation of the Harry Potter franchise. Had to laugh at some kids though because when Harry and Ginny held hands the kid in front just went "eww" and then they kissed the kid next to me covered his eyes and grimaced hehe. Actually the "romance" was so badly done in the film because it was so wooden, one cause the pairings are rubbish (Hermanie you can so do better) and all the actors not matter how good actors they may be were all like, do not want. However it was quite funny and entertaining so worth seeing. It was also great to meet up with Rach again cause last time it was Easter I think.

Hmm I should go get some lunch now. Then will sort out my room a bit and then stuff. Unless something more interesting comes up.

This update didn;t have much of a point did it? I'm sure tehre was something I was meant to talk about but alas I cannot recall it.

XxX

Fun ways to break your boyfriend's brain number #I've lost count so lets go 67

He phones you up, asks what you're up to etc etc and you say quite truthally "Eating porridge and reading Twiglight" you then get asked why and tel him that you wanted to see what all the fuss is about and now you know why so many people love Edward Cullen so much and go on about Edward Cullen and how wonderful he is. Boyfriend threatens to hang up, you reply that Edward wouldn't hang up...there is silence...so you say some more about how wonderful Edward Cullen is.....you nearly get disowned/dumped... you compare him to Edward...there is silence and anger...angry silence.... You eventually put the poor guy out of his misery and burst out laughing and convince him you do not love or even like Edward Cullen. You also save your relationship (though if I was actually being serious I would probably deserve to be dumped xD). Hillarious results.

Anyway yeah I'm reading Twighlight just to see what all the fuss is about and I don't have much else to do atm. VAMPIRES SHOULD NOT SPARKLE!!!

Also porridge with vanilla esence, sugar and mixed spices makes porridge alot more interesting.

XxX

P.S. At James: *hugs* and yes people do need to know about this because it was so funny (for me anyway) =P

My little sister just asked me to look something up online, I did and accidently said Africa instead of America. She laughs at this and mocks me. I then click onto the web page she needed then realised it's in Spanish. I know Spanish well enough to translate that page...BoB knows no Spanish (well maybe hola). Who is stupid now.

I did translate it eventually but made her feel like an idiot for a bit =P

Also uroshitsuji the opening changes in episode 17 (I think) though the song is still the same woot! And whilst Sebastian throwing a black rosei s all very romantic and nice etc, and I would not object to Sebastian giving me a balck rose at all.... the throwing cutlery is sooooo much more epic!! Yeah been catching up on Kuroshitsuji, now I have some time a bit of anime.

EDIT: Ok the cutleryness in episode 18...I am appeased. More throwing cutlery please xD

I say that, but tomorrow I'm off to Essex to visit my Gran in hospital,Wednesday seeing Ice Age 3, then Friday and Saturday working all day. I already got called in to work on Saturday for a few hours cause Nikki had to leave early for an emergency. YeY money and I'll be working with Shirley which is never a bad thing.

Oh to those I've just added on my f-list (well accepted your requests), sorry for being a bit slow in realising you've added me xD.

I have to catch a early train, therefore bed would be sensible. So back to interwebzing xD

XxX

Yep it was fantastic.

I'll upload the huge lj entry about it all when I get around to it but now I must unpack ^_^

Love to alls.

XxX

P.S. asmy ljinghas been sporadic I may well ahve missed important things (I will try to catch up but feel free to tell me if something important/exciting/bad whatever I should know etc) so I don't miss it.

P.P.S.
In Japan!

Konichiwa everybody！

Japan is the awesome.　I:m having so much fun, I do no　twant to return but I want to see my family and friends again so you can all come to Japan please *nodnod*, time has gone so quickly. I can:t believ it:s only a week to go. Tomorrow I:m off travelling, starting in Hiroshima so I:ll be off to Hakata station later to sort that out. So exciting though I was really upset leaving people at the school but I have lots of emails and facebooks to keep in contact. Also another reason to return is Natalie said something about possible coming to England aka WINWINWIN!!! (Not that I:m not excited about seeing everyone else, I love you guys). I hope so. I was gonna suggest maybe we meet up in NY or something over Christmas as Hiroshi san is moving tehre in September and Nat;s been to NY for Chrismas breaks so I could see both. (Plus Hiroshi san will be working for a travel agent, useful prehaps). Also clever James got his ph.D so when I got up to Liverpool I will get to see Pam, Cal, Chris and whoever else is around but James said he:ll take a day or two off so we can go adventuring somewhere, I have stuff to return for, However I still want the Japanese garden.

Yeah so I am loving the history and culture of Japan, the temples, shrines, gardens and parks.I took part ina traditional tea ceremony and went to a temple wearing a yukata (I now have my own and know how to tie the obi). Amussingly the Japanese lady called me Twiggy because I was so thin and British, that:s quite something coming for such a slim nation xD.

The weather is also wonderful, I spent today having a bbq, getting buried, findいng star fish and having a good time at the beach! Despite being the rainy season it:s rained for 3 days max here.　I:ve read some of your ljs but not all but will have a mass lj reading session when I return. I have been too bust\y to be online much xD.

Also Jacks+ Gravitation stuff is hard to find, though hopefully there will be some when I go a travelling.

I also saw fireflies have eaten some wonderful (and occasionally odd and not so wonderful) food. Hakata ramen = best thing ever.

Well now, short update to let you all know I:m alive and having a great time. I shall go enjoy my last night in Fukuoka (well ok tech I:ll be back here on Saturday as my flight leaves Sunday morning).

Loves to all, hope you:re well.

XxX

Hello all,

Just a small note to say that I am leaving for Japan on Saturday so I may not have a chance to update again before I go. I will try and update from Japan but no guareentees, please just assume I'm alive, well and having a good time unless you hear anything different.

I will be back on the 28th June so you'll probably get a rambling lj after that date about Japan and photos (I got a new camera today woot).

So all have a good time whatever you're up too ^_^

*loves*

XxX

P.S. psycho_glam you shall get at least one card my dear <3

Exams are over and our kitchen's trashed!

FREEDOM!!!

Yes someone may have just finished her last exam today, apart from one (American politics, any objections if I blow up America....nope good) they all went ok ^_^!

So now to be a cheeky bitch =P in the past many people have linked to my lj for reports on stuff like shopping trips and concerts so here be a Sazzy being cheeky.

Girugamesh = EPIC and Ryo is the win of life, plus Chris and I met Faizah who is awesomeness and Girugamesh are the win.
And Dam I was gonna direct you to Chris's lj (I was not slacking) but I have been defeated by the f-lock >_< meh may have to do my own report then =P

I also won a compertition for a free makeover and photoshoot so off Pam and I went to Manchester (I got to take a friend along). It was soo much fun, I want to be a model, society should want models that look like me. Also I forgot to tell James that it was Monday I was having a makeover so then Pam text him a picture of me, and he got confused and his reaction was so funny when he saw me at the station and then my photos. We also went to Pam's house, where her mum was very impressed because we both looked gorgeous and also look really like sisters when we're all done up xD. Kittens are so big but still adorable, I want <333 (anyone want a kitty, methinks people I know should get the kittens and of course Darcey is mighty fine as ever. For the full report may I please direct you to the lj of Pam http://demichippings.livejournal.com/55696.html and may I take this oppurtunity to point out Pam is gorgeous and I was only finished before her because hair curlers take a while to put in and my hair only had to be straightend and I probably had more makeup on than her in the end. But anyway we both looked amazing (not that we don't normally).
Hopefully we're both be able to save up some money and buy more prints as they are very good, but very expensive >.<

Then today after my exam I was just wandering for a bit and got a call from flat management dude asking to see him so I did and found out our kitchen/lounge got trashed last night. O_o I left about midday yesterday then spent allday in the library before aquiring myself a James and going for foodums so got back around 8. Yeah Dan who has gone home gave his keys to another girl living here so her friends could stay over, yeah so he asked me if I had been around and if I'd heard any noise. I had been in my room revising all evening, never went out to the kitchen as I heard noise so assumed someone had thier friends round. They all came back late at night and drunk. This morning our lounge/flat completely trashed, curtain rails detached, chairs broken, stains and writting on wall, plates and glasses smashed, holes in the sofa cushions, floor well urgh, tv overturned...none of these people live in my flat. So now I have 5 people in the kitchen cleaning up and will be paying for all damages that they can't fix (this could be expensive for them...GOOD!). I popped my head round the door and despite people cleaning it, it's still a bombsite. This is one way of getting a clean kitchen and I'm glad I did go out for food last night (Yummy Italian Place on Bold Street people, highly reccommended). Hopefully it will be sorted sometime and I'm very glad I don't have to pay the costs as the management know it was nothing o do with me.

Even if it's not sorted to Wagamamas tonight for end of exam celebration ^____^ with Pam, Becci and possibly assorted others.

Btw I leave Liverpool on Monday, because my flight to Japan is Sat 30th and this si the only time my parents can bring me back. I will be in the AJ sometime Friday evening so please come and see me and give me hugs and other important Japan things or advice beforen I go. I will miss you all but will be back up for a few days around the begining of July for those who are still around.

I really can't beleive how soon my trip has come around. I think it's because I changed the dates, so I can work more in the summer. However this involves finding a job aka mission impossible, I've applied for lots heard nothing so probably back to temping, though I'm hoping Nikki will have something for me, even a few hours a week would be better than nowt.

Err now must have shower and sort out room because it's kinda been negelected with revision and all.

XxX

EDIT: The people who made the mess have gone and I've just spoken to the cleaners, the fuckers turned our fridge off so I've just thrown out everything because it's either covered in sauce or defrosted. They said I might be able to get soem compensation for the food. There wasn't too much in there thankfully but it is annoying as I was planning on using my food up in the past few days.

Urgh, they also thought that by turning the cushions over no one would realise the stains (eggs, sauces, vomit ewww) on them. Fortuantly the cleaners are giving it a proper clean now, the curtains won't be up for a bit, the fridge is a mess and now has no food in and there will be recarpeting ansd painting needed...oh and probably new sofa cushions. I am so glad I don't have to pay for this because it's gonna cost a fortune
I'm glad I'm off to Wagamama's tonight as now I have very little food.

YeYeYeY Hust brought my travel insurance and Japanese Rail Pass so now I am all sorted to go to Japan, well I have the tickets, first 3 weeks accomidation, passport well in date now I just need to sort out room, buy the travel book, get a clue and a list of hotels/hostels in places I will hopefully be visiting.

Fortuantly my travel insurance was no horrendously expensive, a bit priceier than average but not the sill rocket high prices some insureres were trying to charge me because I have asthma so that's all good. Now I just need to get my brain in gear/and or forget about Japan till exams are over.

I was also told by James and Chris today whom I met for most fun luncheons...I almost got to take Jim clothes shopping for some clothes that are not tent, the sleve of one of his tops today fitted both mine and Chris's arm in it *pets*. He says I can take him sometime cause something came up in the labs. Muhahahaha, I know he likes baggy clothes, but there's baggy and then there's sacks. No I'm not being an over controlling girlfriend, he needs some new clothes (he admitted that) and plus I'm sure anyone who saw the size of his top today would agree. Will bring him cake to make up for it - therefpore all's fair in love and war <333.

Well 50% of the exam done, one yesterday and one today urgh! x__X no more till Tuesday woot, the two I've done could have gone better but could have gone sooooo much worse! At least they are over! I had some mind blanks which were not apprciated. Oh well 2 down, 2 to go.

Also to London this weekend for Girugamesh aka band of win, Chris found a set list, soooo glad that they're playing Breakdown <333 song of win!!!! Plus it's my fave on Music <3

Oh I just realised I forgot to say what Chris and Jim told me, they're not going to throw me a "goodbye have fun in Japan party", no. I have to throw them a "Bitch, you're buggering off to Japan and not taking us with you party" (hey guys if I could afford to take you I would). So rest assured it will be done...or at least we're do something! May have a stupid theme for it though....make you all come as geishas, or chopsticks, or pagondas?? Will work details out later. May possibly even bake more cake for it.

On the subject of cake, there was a Somerset party at Pam's on Saturday (I say party but it was just a gathering of a few of us because there's only so much taking over Pam's house we can do). With some amusing advice via my facebook status I baked cakes. I made the chocolate and vanilla marble cupcakes that I had made at Christmas, was informed they were good as I never actually ate one. I also made a spiced apple and cider cake which using a combination of other recipies and a lot of guess work I created and awesome cake, it's so nice. I think I've also invented cider icing, never heard of it before or found it....hmm possible. Anyway my cider cake is epic!!

And James has just called so I'm dissappearing. Good lucks with all your exams/procrastionations/experiments/jobs/schools/life/others

XxX

However feel free to pay me to keep my clothes on *hint hint*

Do you think you are a good person?
I would say so

Who are your favourite people?
Family, friends and loved ones in general oh, authors of very good books, Vidoll and amazing people.

Ta-dah you can has meme xD

XxX

Completly Pointless.

Urghy, the f-list seems to be either sad or emo today. Sazzy is also feeling emo. Maybe bad weather makes me emo.

However just seen Rach's Japan photos on facebook, I now want to go to Tokyo, theoretically I can get to Tokyo...

Wish I had stayed in bed today, bed was warm. Will be back home soon, have no bread :( but want cheese on toast. I likes bread.

Could work, but fortuantly James supplied me with a new power cord for my laptop, which might be temporary but for the moment who cares I has computer! Then we proceeded to unscrew the connection thingy from the wall and with some amazing jiggery pokery I now had internet back. The thing is still hanging out it's socket and thus will reamain so until I leave. Paper clips are useful ^_^. Could catch up on everything I missed, I've been checking emails and facebook/lj but there's blogs and funny sites and procrastinating sites and other amusing stuff to look at.
Yesterday was good we had a Sunday Roast dinner and chocolate puddings, it was noms noms. Then we went to see the film Coraline. It was good, personally I found the visuals more engaging than the script (not that it was a bad script, could have been improved but did have a talking cat) and the herorine, Coraline was rather funky. I also approve of her liking of mango milkshake and chocolate cake. Think we're going to see the Star Trek films soon and I also quite want to see Wolverine film which may happen soon.

I want to emo now, but whilst I still have stuff I wanna emo about, to save your f-list I shall not. I'm sure I would not be emoing if i was in a less bad mood. I want cheese on toast... ifI cannot find bed lets hope I have spaghetti.

Going to Japan soon, travel insurance nearly sorted, also need JRP. Not everyone is that happy I'm disapearing to Japan (but boy who's day I will make with ryuu and then involved Light and L and cake and birthday and 10 years is very much looking forward to my visit) so to solve this problem....I shall vanish and hide....in Japan.

Should pass exams before going to Japan though.... should work... lets go look for bread <3.

Pointless entry is pointless?

XxX

Drinking in Japan ^_^

Hello world.

Yeah, whilst i brought a new interwebs cable the computer power cord is being a bitch which is very annoying as I brought it a few weeks ago so back to uni stealage of computers.

As I don't get to see all of my f-list *pouts* to say this in person: I'M GOING TO JAPAN IN JUNE AHHHH!!!!
And breath....*is currently spazzing out to Sian via msn*....

I'm staying in Fukuoka for three weeks where I'll be learning Japanese in the mornings and I'm also intending to go to South Korea for a weekend as i can get a boat there and I can't be that close and not go.

Then the last week I shall travel around Japan, definatly decided I'm going to Hiroshima, Osaka and must go to Kyoto. Any other suggestions?

So yep I will be away all of June pretty much (well I get back for like tha last day I think)

It will be amazing...wtf am I doing!?!? I love my adventourous streak. I have aqquired a travel bug and have a feeling i will never get over it.

I think I'm gonnas have to get a bigger suitcase cause I have had so many requests for presents...I am gonna have to take other stuff though...like clothes xD

That's my big news over with.

Last night was fun. I got drunk for the first time in ages lol.
It was the AU ball and i went with karate so we started off in the Aldelphi (posh hotel in Liverpool) where we had the meal...lots of wine...it was nice wine Sazzy had lots. I also had top collect my award for full colours which i'm not quite sure what it means, I think it's because I've represented the uni in a compertition. But now have a shiney badge to sew onto my gi... or stick onto my pegboard.
Funnyness included: the boys being bouncers, me getting past the bouncers, where's Amy gone and the balloon. Oh and mdf xD

Then we went clubbing, lots of alcohol, lots of fun and dancing. Fun times. Amusingly I stayed out the latest with Kat and Craig before taking drunk Kat home. Then today Ste and i were the only ones who turned up for training. So we didn't have a session hence why I is on the interwebs now before heading round to Jim's later.

I also love my mum because I have no hangover and I inherited this amazing power form her. best thing to inherit ever!!!

I also went shopping on someday, with Pam, Becci and Callum. It was fun. Pam has a strange affect on me...I only ever buy girly clothes when she's with me. I brought a skirt, blue summer top, to cardigans, a t-shirt and some vest tops. YeY for stuff <3

Loves to you all

XxX

Arrggghhh

Ahhhhhh where has time gone and why am I now looking at third year modules O_O why is September going to mean the start of my final year at uni DO NOT WANT!!!

Also why are the politics modules so much more organised than communication modules. The politics people even have a provisional timetable and well more choice than comms. Also dam why can't I do a master module because it's in political marketing and I'm good at that dam you master students who get to do module of win!

Also not sure if I want to do a dissertation...well I don't. However if I go onto further study like a Masters or a Phd then a dissertation will prove very useful. I'd like to graduate and get a job, however with the economy being so bad atm this could be problematic so further study then getting a phd could be the way to go.

So far I've registered for Asian International relations politicamijiggys and British press and broadcasting. Only 90 more credits needed so I have time to decide as the deadline not for a while. I am also avoiding anything to do with Irish politics, especially Northern Ireland as it is still the most confusing thing ever (well one of them).

I could do a module on Nordicnavia again..ahhh bless that word. Can you still pass if you make up words in your finals?

Also completed my plan today.... Excellent =D

XxX

Work Placement
OMG I've made no entry in a week *le shock* xD *EDIT: Actually I typed this yesterday, then the computer failed so I decided to stuff it and I'll go to bed*

Hello world *waves*

Last week and this week have been fun I've been doing work expireince in my MP's constituency office, it's surprisingly good fun!
My MP is Jeremy Brown (aka Jezza he has been nicknamed) who fortuantly is a very good MP (and you don't get me saying that about many MPs), it also means I get a good MP hahaha! He's not around this week as he's in Parliament but was around all of last week. He's probably glad to escape me, yes I am cheeky to my MP and like asking awqward political questions....hehe well I'm not too bad (if it was a bad MP then I would be such a bitch) and he doesn't mind, plus it's good that it shows that I'm interested in him and his parties (Lib Dem) politics xD. I can also speed shread, but have been doing more interesting stuff. I met Nick Clegg (Liberal Democrats Leader) and there is an amusing story about my recyling box which I shall now tell you. As the County Council (and European Parliament) elections are coming up Cleggy was visiting the South West including Taunton and the council introduced the green box scheme to receycle paper, which was then extended to glass, clothes and cans (possibly some other stuff too). If the Lib Dems have control of the next council they want to include cardboard and plastic recycling. So for a photograph and small speach Ollie (works in office Constituency Agent - rather want his job) brought in some plastic and cardboard. Then they all realised none of them had brought in a green recyclin box (LOL) with an hour before Clegg arrived. So I became the saviour by offering mine, surprising my mum by turning up at home and then had to explain the recycle box saga. Nick got his photo with my recycling box which can be seen here http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=logo#/photo.php?pid=1802954&id=575527195&ref=mf (yes I am friends with my MP on facebook xD). Cleegy was nice, though I didn't get to speak to him for very long and looks better in person than he did on the tv that night.

I went to a presentation things with the Princes Trust which was rather amusing and resulted in free cake (WIN)! I've been dictating letters (muhahaha I make stuff sound good), been laughing at some of the idiots who ask us questions and been having a good time.

Today was mucho fun as a member who's been very involvede with the Lib Dems for years was leaving to go to Cyprus. I made the food look good, I'm very creative when it comes to presentation (I didn't have to help but I wanted to). I bet the celery and carrots (we did have lots of unhealthy food too) would so not have dissapeared if I hadn't created a star with celery sticks with carrots sticks on them surrounded by yummy bread things. I also made a fort out of cheese and biscuits and well made everything look good and snacked on grapes. I do like this sort of stuff. I also got provided with free wine so free food and wine = WIN!! (Otherwise I do do work). I met lots of interesting people and got some very good advice. I also surprised alot of people when I said I wasn't a member of any political party, but they were nice people who seemed impressed by me and we also had a mutual hatred of the BNP *shudders*.

With the council and European elections coming up there has been lots of election stuff going on in the office so I keep meeting councillers and potential councillors. They better win because otherwise all those leaflets I was doing will have been for nothing.

There are some stupid constituents, like one who asked us "Why do immigrants all have expensive cars?" asking because she had seen "a woman of colour" in a nice car earlier. *Headdesk*.

Also the people I work with are rather cool, especially as I got to blast J-rock round the MPs office.... Yes I am that good.
Hehehe Wendy said go to youtube and put some music on, whatever I normally listen to so I did a combination of music in English and Japanese and they really likie Vidoll YeY!!! Today (now Tuesday) with had some BoB Marley playing and they're pretty informal.

My MP made me a cup of tea...it was very good, Jezza can make them, Val can't. Monday I had two cups of tea in 20 minutes... Ollie told me today that he has chemically altered me to drink more tea...I've had 10 cups this year already ahhhh!!!

Jeremy said he'll take me to Parliament sometime, I wanted tot go up for the budget but there wouldn't have been enough time to get me a sercurity pass to all the fun part of Parliament (aka the places I'm not meant to go). So I'm thinking after my exams. He's in Parliamenrt atm but is back on Friday so I'll ask him then.

I'm almost tempted to try getting some work expeirence with some MPs I don't like just so I can be evils to them (however in my letter I would say II supported thier parties policies etc). That's mean isn't it....hmmm.

Also 2 out of 3 parts of my plan are complete. Origionally this plan only had two parts but it's aqquired and extra part now. However fortuantly stage 3 isn't vital but would be useful xD. I also am looking for jobs for after I graduate just to see what's around... I am liking some of these saleries, of course I would get a low salery to start with but give it a while and hopefully I can has lots of moneies and travel the world. However have a way to go before that and finidng a job if I don't do a masters/phd will not be that easy, but at least this has given me more of an idea into what sectors I want to go into, or what I hope to do eventually.

I took my little sister bowling and for pizza on Monday as she complained I hadn't done anything with her this holiday (working). It was fun and now we have free games of bowling win win.

I must really get on with some revision and reading All the Presidents Men.Dam why can't working count as revision and I can just do my exams on fighting with Ollie for chocolate and life in a constituency office >_<.

Loves to all

XxX

Update of epicness!

Hello lj, it’s been a while.

Yeah there’s not been a proper update from me in a while. The past few weeks have been hectic because of end of term deadline and life in general on Friday after I handed in the last piece of coursework I had a lecture then went back home and crashed. I only got woken up by a phonecall (which was good as there was some place I was meant to be) but otherwise I don’t think I would have woken up for ages. Then I was in Liverpool (but on holiday) Saturday - Tuesday but the internet at my flat hasn’t been working plus I’ve been doing stuff these past days. So now I am at home in Taunton (though was about 40mins late dam train >_>). I arrived yesterday night but my dad had to install some anti virus stuff till this evening so this is my first proper time on the interwebs for a while. I'll try and read/comment on your lj enteries. Tell me if I've missed something important

So lets see stuff that I’ve been up to that isn’t coursework… Being a pyrate, passing my karate grading, An Café, London, Williamson’s Tunnels, milkshake and various others.

So a few weeks ago, the 23rd March I believe I went as a pyrate to a Pyrates vs Ninjas party it was rather fun and I now have lots of very random music on my computer because of it xD. However I couldn't stay for long as I had to rush off to my karate grading (normally I would have skipped karate but I can't exactly miss gradings). It went well though Sensei Sherry confused Kat and I titally with wierd instructions O_o but we passed it! I am a green belt now (however my yellow belt was a nicer colour). I only have 4 or 5 belts till go till I become a blackbelt now ^_^. I'm getting there. I also had to explain why I had arrived dressed like a pyrate. Though at one point I had my gi top and belt on over my pyrate outfit so pyrate ninja Sazzy ftw (and who was gonna argue with a karate knowing pyrate). So after the grading I went back for the last part of the party, despite being absolutly shattered (gradings are so much more tiring than normal lessons) and danced, then sat down and attempted to revive energy then danced some more in a repeating cycle till the end of the night.

Then Tuesday, excitment took over exhaustion and I was up bright and early (and arrived early) to get a coach to London for An Cafe with Pam, Becci and Chris. The coach journey down was fun and random and we arrived in London YeY. With a bit of a diversion we got to the hotel after Pam decided that the escalators at Tube stations are faster than the rest of the countries. Got ready at the hotel (big room ftw with electric curtains) we all looked odd.... but totally in place once we joined the que. We ate at Wagamama's omnomnom (I seem to have gone to Wagamama's loads recently for my foriegn friends as I'm not sure if you have them abroad it's a Japanese restaurant). We joined the que, then I had to plot a war against Starbucks and got our merch.

The concert was sooo fun ^_^ we were speaking to some really cool girls whilst waiting for An Cafe to come out, but unfortuantly I couldn't find them at the end :( They were really energetic like last time and Pam and I got really close to the front (we got oushed there but not complaining) so I got to touch Miku and hold Takuya's hand =D. Ducks magical adventure was so funny and there talking was win, they were so nice. It was funny though they so wanted and ego boost "do you prefer London boys or An Cafe boys?" -Miku. I think the dam well knew the answer xD We were dancing and bouncing away (when we had the space to). Pam, Becci and Chris have all uploaded far longer and more detailed enteries about An Cafe so I'll leave it at this. They were fantastically awesome and NYAPPY!!!!!!

Then teh next day we went aLondoning. I seemingly am the only one who can read a tube map xD. In our house next year there will be the An Cafe poster I brought and the tube map that got us round London (currently on my pegboard) on the wall of our lounge. Pam had never been to London and both she and Becci wanted to go to Camden (and I love Camden so no complaints from me). So shopping spree time. We all (apart from Chris) brought loads of really cute clothes and I got yet another Hello Kitty phone charm (Virgo ala my star sign). I also have an adorable Hamtori bag. I brough shoe laces, phone charms, a bag, clothes jewellry and probaby some other stuff. The we had noodles that were yummy for lunch.

As Pam had never seen London we went to Cleopatra's needle as she really wanted to see that and it was super awesome and built long before Cleopatra http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra's_Needle#London I then gave Pam a super quick, in under 2 hours tour of some of the main tourist sights of London such as St Stephen's Tower (Big Ben), The houses of Parliament, St Paul's catherdral from a distance, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge not bad huh. I also had a really good time. I know centeral London quite well which is good so I'm glad I could show Pam some of the sights, cause heck if you've never been to London the touristy thing should be done.

Yeah everyone else wrote longer enteries about it, I porbably should but yeah I can give you more details if you like and many of the f-listso it will save you reading very similar things again and again. We arrived back into Liverpool around 11pm, very tired but very nyappy.

I guess for the next part I should explain (though chances are if you've been or are in Liverpool you already know this). I now have a boyfriend, he is James and very lovely. We notice that we've been causing alot of people to go "WTF" at this and lots of people are surprised that we are now together xD. People keep asking me how long have you liked him, and to be honest I'm not sure. Him and I started spending more time together after Christmas (we often managed to bump into each other around uni despite out buildings being different ends of the campus) so yeah random meetings in which I got to know him better and vice versa. So I was kinda like "do I actually like him or am I mistaken because we're such good friends?". Then he told me he liked me and yeah... went from there I guess. We've only really started telling people in the last two weeks though so it's not suprising if this is news to you.

So Saturday, after resisiting the the tempatation to stay in bed all day James and I went to Williamson's Tunnels which are rather awesome.Joseph Williamson was a slightly mad genius around in the late 1800s... however was also fantastic in that he had a tunnel built from his house to the pub. I highly suggest this for our house next year.

He brought some land just up from the university and the orgional purpose of the tunnel was to cover a sandstone quarry so the houses he was building with the intention to rent and sell to gentry and aristocracy would have more land at the back and so he could increase the value by adding gardens. Word soon got around that Williamson had work going as many people had just come back from the Napoleonic wars to find that thier jobs had gone. As Williamson was a very private man no one really knows why he built more tunnels but he had already made lots of money from working his way up in various business's (and marrying the bosses daughter) but it's believed as more men turned up for looking for work he didn't have the heart to turn them away but didn't want to just give them money so thus got them building more tunnels. The Victorians then filled the tunnels with rubbish but volunteers are working to excavate at least some of them. They also had a load of books which you could take as long as you gave a donation so I got 2 for me, 1 for my mum, 3 for my older sister and 2 for my gran and yes did give a donation.

The tour was under an hour and cost less than £4 and it's definatly worth going as you get to be underground in Liverpool (ok there are lots of underground places in Liverpool but novelty value of being in a tunnel counts for something right), it's very interesting and I found out some really good stories about Williamson.

So highly recommended and a good way to spend a bit of spare time when you're not sure what else to do. We then went to the One Centre because I wanted milkshake and Jacks had recommended a place there. I had a very scrummy pineapple milkshake so we drunk them on the grass and laughed at some of the outfits... we saw a girl with handcuffs attatched to her wrist...we think she was using them as a fashion accesory. We burst out laughing. Then wandered around the docks, the fountains at the once centre and through town before going to Kimos for tea then back to James's. So all in all a very good Saturday.

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were spent with a combination of packing, seeing James, tidying room and a random shopping spree on Tuesday as I was in a strangly shoppingly mood. I got quite alot of stuff but it didn't cost too much as most of what I got was on sale anyway or just cheap YeY. The shopping did not hurt my bank balance too much.

Then Tuesday I went home. I was about 40 mins late because my train was delayed leaving Birmingham so got back around 10pm. So I fed tha rabbit and found a wonderful roast dinner in the fridge for me that only needed heating in the microwave so omnomnom. Home cooking ftw. Today I caught up on lots of sleep... though mum says my eyes still look tired. I say I should sleep more then. I also raided the fridge much of the time. I'm trying to improve my lifestyle of not eating and sleeping anywhere near enough as towards the end of term it was kinda starting to show. So the weekend with James and a few weeks here will help me relax hopefully.

I'm also reading a book called "Other people's money" by Neil Forsyth and Elliot Castro about a Elliot Castro himself who was very clever but from a working class background, either got expelled or left any schools he went to with no qualifications. Yet between the ages of 16 and 22 he worked out how to do credit card fraud and travelled round the world, between stretches of prison (you wouldn't believe what he was in prison for the first time.... it wasn't credit card fraud), escapng from police, credit card companies and airline and had some very good times. It's really interesting and I know he's a criminal and I would feel different if he had stolen my money (though banks normally have insurance for that) but gosh he was smart and heck he achieved his dream of seeing the world. A short career as a fraudster but profitable and a 16 year old with no qualifications outwitting some of the biggest banks, credit card companies and various police forces in the world. It's a very good read and I do admire his attitude at various points.

So yeah shoudl transfer money and then go to sleep. I'm seeing Rach and possibly Scott and Lewi tomorrow who are a few of the people I still actually have contact with from college which should be really fun ^^.

Hope you're all having good holidays (or workings or whatevers)

XxX

Anhh I have just handed in my final piece of work before the holidays. I'm freeeeeeeee! Hi life, nice to see you again, I know it's been a while.
I also got 70% on a p[iece of work I did, I had to write an abstract (summary like thing) on a book. I couldn't get hold of the book in time so wrote it without the book and just read blurbs and reviews. this means either:
A. I'm awesome
B. Phd students aren't very good markers

XD Not that I am complaining in the slightest and before you insult my course, the rest of my work is marked accuratly and normally has far more researched involved. Or maybe I just write good abstracts as I had never written one before. It's 7.5% of my final mark for the module.

SEVEN WHO’S:

Who was the last person you saw?
Well I'm in the library so technically the people all around me. Friends wise however Rach, Tom, Mike and Fredrick.

Who was the last person you texted?
James

Who was the last person you hungout with?
Pam, Callum Becci, and James

Who was the last person to call you?
Pam to find out where I was

Who did you last hug?
Pam or Becci

Who is the last person who texted you?
BoB (little sister)

Who was the las person you said "i love you" to?
There were random declarations of love all last night for people

SIX WHERE’S:

Where does your best friend live?
Manchester/Liverpool, America >_>

Where did you last go?
I went from Pam's house, to the bus stop, to the library (cause I was early so facebooked), to the seminar room and back to the library.

Where did you last hang out?
Casa el Pam

Where did you go to school?
Teignmouth, Berrow and Taunton

Where is your favorite place to be?
It changes

Where did you sleep last night?
Pam's sofa

FIVE DO’S/DOES:

Do you like someone right now?
Yes.

Do you think anyone likes you?
Yes.

Do you ever wish you were someone else?
Who doesn't.

Do you know the muffin man?
Sure, he lives down Drury Lane

Does the future scare you?
I'm more curious

FOUR WHY’S:

Why are you best friends with your best friend(s)?
They're awesome, I trust them, we have fantastic times together and yeah they rock!!!

Why did you get a facebook?
It was very popular in America so i got it to communicate with my American friends, because of the time difference a wall message was convinient cause we weren't often on msn at the same time.

Why did your parents give you the name you have?
<strike>Cause I am a princess</strike> My dad decided it, I was orgionally going to be called Katie and then they changed thier mind. My gran phoned round people saying that I was called Katie, my parents phoned round telling everyone I was called Sarah Marie...confusion ensured xD. Oh and me and both my sister have the same number of letters in our first and middle name, this was a consious desicion by parents.

Why are you doing this survey?
Cause I'm, not reading the article I should be (but still have plenty of time) but dpn't have long enough to do a proper lj article.

THREE IF’S:

If you could have one super power what would it be??
The ablity to gain more super powers

If you could go back in time and change one thing, would you?
Yes... however I may change history and then the space/time fabric could be completly ruined however the change could be for the best and I'm going to start talking about Doctor Who if I'm not card

If YOU were stranded on a deserted island & could bring ONE thing what would you bring?
A working TARDIS

TWO WOULD-YOU-EVER’S:

Would you ever get back together with any of your ex’s if they asked you?
No.

Would you ever shave your head to save someone you love?
Yesh

ONE LAST QUESTION

Are you happy with your life right now?
Pretty much ^_^

I am hungry... for flapjack, although I have grapes here and spaghetti but have nothing to cook it on. I should read the srticle and then go and get delicious flapjack. I shall also have to do a long update on An Cafe, London, things I've seen recently and the life in general.

Oh i don't know if I said this but I passed my Karate grading, green belt Sazzy ftw!

I'm going home on Tuesday, I think my friends should come with me xD

XxX
